Dear desktop user – Part 5

Instead of complaining that her company is slow to nudge its IT consultant to let the helpdesk try the new tool, my patient friend said, she’d enjoy reading what other frustrated desktop users say, how they vent their frustration. It would be good therapy, “a public service” she suggested, “to know we aren’t alone.”

So, when you’re irritated about waiting for an app to respond, what may be your comment?

  • Another app nap
  • Apparently it’s paid by the hour
  • Doing meditation
  • Lost in the cloud(s)
  • Waiting for Godot
  • De mortuis nihil nisi bonum.
